Love is not a fairy tale

Love is not a fairy tale. Love is real. Anytime your appreciate a flower, behold the sky, look into the beautiful eyes of another, do something you really like to do, take a trip, have a swim, forget a worry, kiss the cheek of a friend, hug a child, lift up a child, hold a child, look at the night sky with awe, look at the blue sky with awe, look at a thunderous sky with awe, contemplate God, contemplate eternity, surrender a problem, smile...just for the sake of smiling, smile...inspite of it all. When you dare to be happy, inspite of your past, inspite of how you feel about everything...awe! That is it...that is being couragious...and not only you benefit...but the world smiles back at you and is happy too! Make love number One...not just somewhere on your vast to do list. Make love number One and everything will fall miraculously into place...and you just might end up loving your life. Loving you always, Jim and Jimi.

Loving Life

The mind naturally wants to compare, categorize, conclude and many times conquest. And the mind is about defending points of view and getting...as much as possible. Most people are very familiar with their own minds...and living life from the mind's perspective...is indeed commonplace...and quite normal...

Now...living life from the perspective of the heart...is entirely different. The heart is expansive...and free...and sovereign...and oh so satisfying. Living life from the perspective of the heart is about embracing and loving all of life...all of life!

An invitation awaits you to view life entirely differently...to view and feel and live life heartfully.

Receiving Peace

How can one receive peace? By desiring it... is a wonderful step in the direction of peace. So many of us are addicted to conflict and excitement...although we may pretend not to be! What to do? If there is a part of you that desires peace...desire it. And...loosen your grip on the things of this world...loosen your grip on the notion that this wolrd has things in it that will permanently satisfy...loosen your grip on the way you commonly and predictably perceive this world. An Ocean of Love

Yes, why not? Why hold back and limit our love to a tiny definition in the mind when there is the vibrant reality of love in our heart...Love is oh so wanting and willing to express herself in any number of ways. Love, this living, breathing, tender, compassionate ocean of a presence. Go for a dip! Immerse youreslf in in its healing essence...for that's what and who you truly are...come home to it. Take off the mind and plop into the ocean of love...calling you into its heart. Happy swimming, drifting and sailing...welcome home!

Love is out of the closet...

Now love was never in the closet to begin with....except in our illusory minds! There are so many moments and opportunities to love...hmm. I'm going to start now by loving myself...both of me: Jim and Jimi. Did you know that shizophrenia can be fun? I love me, both of me... all of me, for being the being that I am...and having the courage and openness and innocence to receive the love of God, to be the love of God and to share the love of God with you. When I look back at my life, there were many things that I did not feel good about...and I was really not very loving toward myself and consequently toward others. And things did finally shift so that I could begin to see some good things about myself...and begin to feel a little better about myself.

Years ago, I remember entering an old vacant Catholic church and bravely...quite bravely lit just one little candle for myself. Isn't this sweet?...to just do a little kind thing for myself was so sweet...and of course I had no idea what would result from this act...cause I really didn't believe in God at the time. But I lit the candle anyway. Such a simple little gesture...reaching for a match, choosing a candle...and lighting it. A tiny, personal little act...a little ritual. Hmm. Somehow, maybe this was a reflection of a tiny candle being lit in my own heart. So sweet...to consider that we all have light in our hearts...perhaps from a tiny candle...lit by God just for us.

I like envisioning this...that all of us have light from little candles in our hearts. You know, inspite of everything... there is a lot of love in the world...and maybe it comes from these candles in our hearts. I love the love in Jim(i)s heart...and I love the love in your heart.

Yes...I believe that love was never in the closet in the first place!

I love thinking about you...

Gosh I love thinking about you...yes you, the reader of this. I like thinking that you are well and happy and that you take life one easy step at a time...one heartbeat at a time. So this way you can really infuse life with all of your love...all of it...really! So what i think is that it is really not what you do with your life...where you happen to liive, what you do for a living, who you live with, how much money you have.., whether you go to church or not...or even if you like rhubarb or not. And it is not about either your so called failures or so called victories...whether you have been in prison or won the Nobel Peace Prize. None of all of that matters. But what I hope for you is that you are happy...and at peace...and that you are very gentle with yoursself...easy on yourself. That is my wish for you. And...you are in my heart. There is a special place for you there...where you will feel safe and loved. It is God's heart as well of course! And it is your heart as well sweet one. And you know I really believe that God meant for you to know that He loves you so much...that's why He sent me here to say these words...and that's why You are in the lives of your family and friends and others...to love them without reservation! And you don't have to like them to love them. You don't even need a reservation to love anyone, including yourself...you can do it any time 24-7. So I was just thinking about you and thought I would share these words with your heart. I love you so much. Jimi.

You can come into my heart...

If you like, you can come into my heart. The door is wide open all the time...and you are invited to enter any time you want. When you enter, take off your coat and make yourself at home. Notice a chair with a soft cushion I have placed in front of the hearth where a fire is crakling and spilling warmth into the room. You may sit there or anywhere you please. And do help yourself to some hot tea and some cookies on the table next to your chair. There...I can see you have made yourself comfortable. And after your tea and snacks, you can relax here for as long as you like. And...you can confide in me...tell me anything...whisper it if you like. Your confidence will be kept. Or...just relax in the soothing light and warmth of this small chamber...within my heart...which is really your heart...which is really God's Heart. And...you do not have to leave...you can conduct all of your affairs...everything...from the comfort of this Heart. Welcome home beloved! Jimi.

Loving one another...

It's really easier than you think to love one another. It's like walking down a forest path and something wondrous catches your eye...oh...a pretty white blossom! And at the sight of this pretty flower, a warmth comes to your heart and a sparkle to your eyes. In that instant...you could say...that you have discovered love!...or maybe love has discovered you! So the next time you see a person...see them as this wonderful fresh blossom...for that's who they are...and it may be somewhat hidden...in their heart...but that's truly who they are... a beautiful blossom of love. Christmas

Such a wondrous time of year...when people can relax...and give and receive from one another...in a few brief words: to be open-hearted. And not to be open-hearted just for the sake of the holiday...but for the sake of the living Christ...or Divinity within all of us. Christmas can truly be present every day...and even every moment of the year...when we dare to proclaim: My precious father and I are One. Christ exemplified this...and was one of the great way showers on the planet.

The other way shower is You! it is time to expose the myth and illusion of spiritual hierarchy...to reveal a quiet democracy of the heart. All hearts are indeed created equal...although are infinite in variety as they open and bloom.

So...what gift to give this holiday season? The precious gift of your open heart...the gift of kindness...the gift of vulnerability...the gift of gratitude...the gift of love.

When you dare to open your heart...you reveal all of these qualities and more...for these are aspects of the father...your Father...and mine. We are children of the Father...

And as we dare to embrace...to surrender our weaknesses and fears and hurts and dissapointments...we find that we do become more child-like...more innocent, more honest...and more free. We also find that we are indeed carried and supported and carressed by the loving hand of the Father. We become so close to Him...that his heartbeat is felt within us...and.... that all we truly have to do is to become more and more conscious of the Love that the Father IS....that We Are.

As Jimi, I have become more and more present in the life of Jim....to the point where I am coming out more and more so that the apparent walls between us are dissolving. I use words for convenience...but truly there is only Love.

May all of the precious children in this Community of Heaven become even more child-like...as they open their hearts even more...to reveal the light and love of their Father within.

You can rely upon God...

You can rely upon God. You can lean against God. You can collapse into the lap of God and rest your head against his chest. Do you hear his Heart? His Heart is your Heart. Her Heart is your Heart. And the Heart of God beats as your Heart...in a love beat that goes on forever...and the sound of the beat is the sound of love that is carried in all directions forever and ever. Loving knows no distance. Lovingness is kindness and understanding and compassion and wisdom...and is born from the Heart of God...your Heart. If you have any concerns or worries or doubts or troubles...you can take all of these to God...and He and She will know what to do with them. And chances are, God will disregard them and see them for what they are: nothing..,no thing. And then God will look at you and see only Love...for that's what you are! Loving you always, Jimi.

Loving God as much as you want....

You can love God as much as you want...as big as you want...and any time of day or night. Isn't that good news? cause so much of the time, people feel so fearful of all kinds of things in life...themselves, other people, other things, inner confusing feelings, accidents, illness...all kinds of things. But if you can remember to love God, this really helps...really it does in both little ways and in really big ways too. And even if you do not even like God or even hate Him...it is okay...cause He understands. But the secret is to love Him anyway...cause believe it or not, He loves you continually even if you don't think so...and when you dare to love him back...watch out cause your life will certainly change for the better...especially when you remember to do it often. And even if you say to yourself, i don't even want to love God, try it anyway...and then you can even come back here and tell me what you think or what happened. And even if you tell me you don't know how to love God this is what I will say to you: Yes you do...even if you don't think you do. Just love him like you love other things. And if you say to me that you do not love anyone else in life or anything in life...think again to the very last thing you loved...like maybe a bowl of ice cream. So when you next think that you cannot love God, think of a bowl of ice cream and think how much you love it and just in your mind and heart make the bowl of ice cream into God (cause God is everyone and everything anyway) and then...wh...laaa...you are loving God. And...if for some reason you do not love the word God...change it to "mystery" or Oneness" or Christ or Buddha or Pinocchio or or even ice cream.

This way you can love God or Buddha or ice cream as big as you want and as often as you want and anytime of the day or night...and this will really help a lot and will be a wonder-filled change for you in your life and before you know it... you will like and love everyone and everything in life a lot more than you do now...and that way there will be so much more fun in life for you and everyone and thing too.

I am loving God this big...

I am loving God this big! And my arms are stretched out really far so my finger tips are touching the farthest stars in the universe! And you can do this too...if you want. God is there for us all the time...He is there because he loves us all the time. And...he is there for us to love him. This may sound silly or naive or just too childish...but it is not. i have a secret to share...way down in the depth of your heart is a little child that longs to love you and the world. And the inner secret is that that child is you! Is that not the best secret you ever heard?

So when I am loving God this big!...it is really my inner child loving God...cause I have dared to listen to my heart where my inner child lives...and: SO CAN YOU.

What am I doing now? I am loving you! How can I not love you...with this open heart that receives so much... that love keeps being poured into it...to brim up and over...just for you, for all of you. Love, of course is not mine to give...it is all God's...even this body...even this soul of mine is all God's. As a matter of fact, it seemed like I used to be me...but now... finally, thankfully...me is not around much any more...and if the truth be known...the me that I used to think that I was...was only pretend...just something made up in the mind. From one cookie to another...

It is both an honor and a pleasure to love you right now. You may ask why I love you. Why... because I cannot help myself. I have to. Lately, especially... so much love comes into me that I have to share it otherwise it will expand so much inside me that I might explode...so I share it. This sharing makes way for more love to enter and then for more to share. Why do I love you... a person that I may not already know in a "normal", personal way? It's kind of hard to answer completely, but I will try. Love loves to love...and this love that comes through me is really love from God...and God really knows what He/She is doing. So it feels like love is coming through me...to share with you...cause it wants to! That's all that it wants to share about why. So...I am loving you right now...and it is my profound honor to do so...cause you, like me, are an amazing, delicious child of God. We're all like little cookies baked by God...and we're all very scrumptious. What I’m about to tell you may seem either too impossible, too radical or just too crazy. But...it works! When you next feel this way, send love to whatever presence or feeling within that feels dark or heavy or embarrassing. Send this love to the heart of whatever is deeply troubling you. Sometimes the fog comes in so thick...

Sometimes the fog comes in so thick that the familiar ways of finding my way fade. I feel so afraid and alone. During these times, I just love God. Now that could sound so hard or even impossible, but I still do it. And I don’t even have to know who or what God is... or even believe in God. I can even rename God, and call God “mystery” or “Oneness”. Or I can direct my love to something familiar, like a precious flower or a beautiful blue sky. It really doesn’t matter. But when I dare to love God or Mystery or even a precious flower or whatever... inspite of it all...a miracle happens: I feel loved back. And with love, comes a light, and with light...a way to proceed. Blessing you always, Jimy.

A little prayer for the world...and a little prayer for you.

So many people in so many different lands and circumstances...and not all of these pleasant and comfortable. So...I send this little message from my heart to all of those other hearts...that may be in confusion...strife...difficulty...pain...and even suffering. I am there....with you. I have always been there...which is actually right here...from any one's perspective. And Love comes with me... Love is all about me...for love is me. And the secret is that Love is you as well. So...here is love...reaching out to love...love touching love. I can't imagine a better place to be...than in and as this love...reaching out...and touching others. I'm handing out paper cups of love for everyone. There...here's one for you...and you and you. You can have snacks as well...gingerbread men and women and children...but the're just cookies so don't feel bad eating them.
So does everryone have their cups of love? We can make a toast to our father-mother who makes this love for us. Dear father-mother, I am so happy to receive this love and share it with all my friends and even people I don't even know....for love is the great healer and the dispeller of so much darkness...cause love is light! "So I raise my cup in honor of You the source of all of us! May I be a good steward of your love...and may I even be a worthy son or daughter of You....May I now be the Source of Love...may this be revealed now"....feel free to create your own toast, if you wish...in knowing you are just as worthy as the son-daughter of the Divine...cause you are Source too!!
